I was so excited for this book to come out and my high expectations were exceeded by the new addition of the Nevermore series! After Varen got pulled into the dream world and Isobel killed all connection between Earth and the dream world, her new quest is to find Reynolds and get a way back into the dream world to save Varen. Pinefeathers has also come back and he is actually trying to help Isobel... and perhaps there is a little attraction inbetween them.
After Isobel finall convinces her dad to take her to Baltimore on Poe's birthday, Isobel and Gwen have a mission to meet the Poe Toaster... a.k.a Reynolds. They sneak into the cemetery and when Reynolds comes out, they ambush him and Isobel finds a way to the world... the only thing is that she can't come back once she enters the mausoleum that takes her to the dream world that holds Varen captive. Once she escapes from one of Pinefeathers friends who greets her and Pinefeathers gives up his life for her... she continues to the look alike home of Varen's and runs into her enemy, Lilith. Lilith sends Reynolds to kill her ans Reynolds and Isobel fight. Isobel spots Varen on a cliff and Reynolds lets her run. She runs to Varen and once she finds Varen, he acusses her of being a traitor and throws her off the cliff into the waves below and leaves us in a huge cliffhanger.
I am so excited for the third one of this series to come out and see if it tops everything in the series. I will let you all know when the title and the cover comes out!!!
